Traditional Joinery

We focus on using traditional, tried and tested joinery techniques. Carefully assembled to produce life-long furniture that will last into the next century. All production from rough sawn timber to finished product is completed from our workshop in South East London.

Contemporary Production

We wanted to create a 21st century production process that embraces new technology and production techniques such as CNC machining. This allows us to maximise accuracy and productivity from within the footprint of a small inner-city workshop.

Sustainable Timber

All of our timber is checked against strict regulations and purchased from local trusted suppliers that we have worked with for years.

British oak forms the main component from which we build our furniture. This is combined with high quality birch plywood, giving our furniture and stiffness and lightness.

Local Suppliers

Our hardwood is hand picked from local suppliers such as Fallen and Felled.

This allows us to select timber from local estates such as Greenwich Park and Hever Castle. Trees that have sadly fallen in storms or needed to be made safe.

Often these are trees that would otherwise be destined for the chipper and incinerator. They produce beautiful, warm, characterful wood, that genuinely makes each piece of furniture unique item.
